RUBRO x Nando's: Peri-Pairing Experience

For the Peri-Pairing Experience, RUBRO and Nando's invited guests in Johannesburg to a guided sensory tasting - comparing the colour, aroma, and flavour notes of rooibos and PERi-PERi side by side, with headsets and screens walking each table through the story of both ingredients. Visio Productions filmed and photographed the full activation, from the tasting stations to the branded merchandise and giveaways, again delivered in horizontal and vertical edits.

A guided-tasting format is a quieter kind of event coverage than a stage or a launch - the story is in the small, considered moments at each table rather than one big scripted beat. We shot close to the tasting stations to capture the sensory detail (the side-by-side bowls, the pour, the reactions) while still stepping back for wider shots of the room in full flow.

This activation ran alongside RUBRO's Fire & Ice Challenge as part of the same Johannesburg brand campaign, both shot by our Johannesburg-based director of photography, Gerrie Janse van Vuuren.
