RUBRO x Nando's: Fire & Ice Challenge

RUBRO Iced Rooibos teamed up with Nando's for a Fire & Ice Challenge activation at a conference brand-experience zone in Johannesburg, pairing PERi-PERi heat with the cooling relief of iced rooibos. Visio Productions was brought in to capture the booth in full swing - branded merchandise, tasting moments, and the energy of guests working through the challenge - shot as both a horizontal and a vertical edit to suit broadcast and social formats.

Activation coverage like this lives or dies on timing and proximity - staying close enough to catch genuine reactions without disrupting the flow of guests through the booth. We worked the space the same way we'd approach any live event, reading the rhythm of the activation and moving with it rather than directing it.

Our Johannesburg-based director of photography, Gerrie Janse van Vuuren, led the shoot on the ground - the same DP who has covered our WHO EPI Managers Meeting coverage in Sandton - giving RUBRO a consistent, locally-based production partner for their Johannesburg activity.
