Filming for Al Jazeera Plus

Following the outbreak of conflict between Israel and Gaza on 7 October 2023, numerous countries declared their positions. On 11 October, pro-Palestine South Africans organised a substantial demonstration outside the US Consulate in Johannesburg, demanding an end to the war and the Israeli occupation of Gaza.

Al Jazeera Plus (AJ+) commissioned coverage of the protest, encompassing interviews with the organiser and participants, b-roll footage, and still photography documentation of the demonstration.
