Our Story
Built from the ground up - frame by frame.
Every brand has a story worth telling - most just haven't found the right partner to tell it. Visio was built around that job: understanding what a business is trying to say, then crafting film and photography that says it with broadcast-quality polish - regardless of budget or scale.
What started in Cape Town as a one-person operation has grown into a full production house with a permanent presence in Johannesburg, supported by a trusted network of directors, DPs, editors, sound engineers and photographers. Some clients arrive with a finished brief and just need it executed well. Others need a creative partner from the very first idea. We do both, and long-term relationships are often built on the second.
Production should be seamless from brief to delivery. No hand-holding required.

Carina Bruwer
A serial creative - entrepreneur, creative producer and photographer - Carina leads Visio's creative direction and every client relationship. She brings 15+ years of production experience across South Africa and internationally.
Cinematographer
Rudolph de Girardier
A field cinematographer with 10+ years' experience across five continents, from the Congo rainforest to Antarctica. As founder of WildFilms he specialises in documentary, investor, and impact storytelling.
Videographer & Content Creator
Liam Solomon
A sharp instinct for interviews, event coverage, and cinematic storytelling, with most of his work built vertical-first for Reels, Instagram, and TikTok. Liam brings a polished, platform-native feel to commercial, influencer, and brand content.

Gerrie Janse van Vuuren
Our Johannesburg-based director of photography, giving Visio a permanent production footprint in Gauteng. Gerrie covers event, corporate, and drone work for clients with a Joburg presence, including the WHO and RUBRO.

Jordan-Lee Garbutt
Directing and shooting since 2010, Jordan-Lee has delivered a TV series, hundreds of ad campaigns, and exhibition photography featured on national television. He blends stills and motion into integrated campaigns for clients up to Fortune 500 scale.
Audio & Livestreaming Specialist
Michael Isaacs
Fifteen years in live audio engineering and location recording, on set and in studio. Michael mixes series, podcasts, and films, consults on sound system setup and installation, and runs our livestreaming broadcasts.

Frieda Coetzee
In the photographic stills and TVC industry since 1997, Frieda runs boutique agency Lekker Locations. She brings 20+ years of location, art department, and supplier knowledge to every shoot.
