Frieda Coetzee has worked in the photographic stills & TVC industry since 1997. She started her freelance career as production coordinator for pioneering Gavin Schneider Productions in Cape Town. She also gained valuable experience when she worked as assistant television producer at Saatchi & Saatchi Cape Town.
Frieda became a sought-after production manager with her people skills, hands-on approach, her all-can-do attitude and vast knowledge of locations, art department sourcing, and industry suppliers.
Fluent in German, Frieda fostered valuable relationships with several international photographers, agencies & clients whilst working with First Productions in Cape Town. She co-produced campaigns for Lidl, Impressionen, Adler, Karstadt, Zolando, Peter Hahn, Webeye and others for consecutive seasons.
Frieda has a passion for documentary filmmaking, and vast knowledge of South Africa, its history and its locations, and she manages her own boutique locations agency Lekker Locations which focuses on house & garden.
